Set over the Fourth of July weekend, Fiestacon (or Westercon) was a major turning point for the Laughing Moon team. For one thing, it was ten times larger than our first show, and we proved to ourselves we were ready for the "adult pool."
Garden of Fire was the hot new release on the Laughing Moon booth, and while we spoke to customers at the booth about this, Josh did a great job at running marathon games for eager players.
Saturday brought the first appearance of the "dark elf," and Lessa even won a much-deserved "Best Hall Costume" award.
Despite sales, games, and purple paint, it was here our Laughing Moon team bonded. But of course nothing brings a group of friends together like crashing on a bicycle rickshaw in the middle of a crowded street at midnight on the 4th of July.
